Fly something you built yourself

Children learn how drones stay in the air, then assemble, program and pilot them in a safe, supervised indoor flying space.

What your child will learn

Dream It. Build It. Fly It.

Physics they can feel

Lift, thrust and balance stop being textbook words when a change in motor speed tips the drone in front of you.

Real electronics, by hand

Motors, speed controllers, a flight controller and a battery, connected and checked by the student who will fly it.

Patience and precision

Tuning means changing one thing, testing, and trying again. It rewards careful, methodical work.

A sense of responsibility

Pre-flight checks, safety rules and respect for people nearby. Students learn that flying is a privilege with rules attached.

Piloting skill

Hovering and controlled manoeuvres build hand-eye coordination and calm under pressure.

Pride in the result

Few things match watching something you assembled yourself lift off the ground.

A typical session

What a session in the Drone Lab feels like

Students work at the bench in safety glasses, each on their own drone. One session might be spent mounting motors, the next calibrating sensors at a set-up station. Progress is visible every week, and nobody flies until their build has passed its checks.

The programme

Four stages, from theory to take-off

  1. Understand

How four propellers create lift and thrust, and how changing their speeds makes a drone pitch, roll and yaw.

  2. Assemble

Put together the frame, mount the motors and speed controllers, and fit the propellers.

  3. Wire and tune

Connect the flight controller, receiver and battery, calibrate the sensors and tune the drone until it holds steady.

  4. Fly

Pre-flight checks, hovering and controlled manoeuvres, and the safety rules that apply to flying drones in India.

Safety

Safety first, every session

  • Safety glasses at the bench, always
  • Tools, batteries and propellers handled only after a safety briefing
  • Every flight supervised by an instructor
  • Flying takes place in [FLYING AREA DETAILS]

Real Life Experiences

  • Motors and flight controller wired by hand
  • A drone tuned until it hovers steadily
  • A first supervised flight
